THE rising number of fat people was yesterday blamed for global warming.

Scientists warned that the increase in big-eaters means more food production — a major cause of CO2 gas emissions warming the planet.

Overweight people are also more likely to drive, adding to environmental damage.

i'm over weight and think this is an insult my hubby who is alot thinner eats twice as much as me, we walk everywhere, he also bikes to work .
it's annoying that they are putting all blame on us bigger people now,some of us are trying really hard to lose the weight and don't need idiots like this saying what they do

its just fat-bashing, racism and sexism is now illegal, one day this will be too!

The environmental impact of fat humans is made even worse because they are more likely to travel by car — another major cause of carbon emissions.

lets think about this - so fat ppl have more money you buy a car or use taxis? i tihnk its more like ppl with money use more cars, so make everyone poor and thatll fix it.

i wonder about the mentality of some sun readers, the sun is little more then a comic! if you look at their forum, its a breeding ground for the BNP too! (apologies if your a sun reader, but there are newspapers out there with news in them!)

I agree I hate the word fat it is very isulting and hurtfull and should be banned, All i can say is if you are happy then thats the main thing and screw your weight your the only one that counts
