Am I alone and wasting my time?

since before we have the snow last week, very few members have posted, even though i post daily. atm i have several "balls in the air", including a blog that gets over 15,000 hits a week (and more every month), mod of a busy comics site, & others. i am very happy to run this site, but if im going to be alone, i feel i may as well close it and put my time into other projects!

im not talking dozens of posts from each active member a day, i know ppl are busy, but its got to be 0 posts other then mine in 24hours, but i do know ppl are reading!

and if you dont want to answer my posts, you could make your own

often i look and read but dont have a comment :/, so rather than talking rubbish, i dont comment, plus a miracle if my kids shut up for 5 mins so i get to read through stuff propally, rather than scanning through

I am still around but also mod another large site, plus have all the normal 'stuff' in life to do. It's good to have somewher local though!

I can understand the frustration,Combom,and you have far more patience than I.(To your credit).I would have long shut up shop but I don't think you give in easily.I visit the site quite often but although I promise ,to myself, that I'll come back later to comment on some article events overtake me and it gets sadly forgotten.I'll turn over a new leaf and contribute more.Lincoln needs as friendly forum such as this.

my feelings exactly! but it seems although Lincoln NEEDS this, not may ppl want it enough to keep it, but they will complain if its gone! the reason im still here is, i too believe its what lincoln needs, I am close on giving up, my blog gets more comments than this forum, in fact the cbox (chatbox) on my blog even gets more!

It can be difficult at times.Somehow I cannot understand how a simple comment on a local re-cycling forum can turn into two pages of heated exchanges,moderater intervention,bannings and forum closures.I had a sneak look a couple of days ago and came running back.
Anyone want a telly. CRT, of course!

i was very confused, wondered what on earth was going on, i have been buying a car and only browsed a few times. then when i popped back all sorts had been said. tbh i had only on cc a hand full of times many moons ago so haven't a clue what was going on so i wasn't able to pass comment.

We are heer but been very busy with ill heath and have been a bit lax but will endevour to check in daily we havnt forgoten why we started this and people need it i know we both havnt been on as much as we should especially being mods so we will step in daily( by the way if my typing goes gobbly gook dont pannic my keyboard has started doing playingup and have got to replace it.

I think it is much needed and it is good to chat, have a moan, share ideas and impart info about other stuff thats going on but appreciate where you are coming from combom !
