Transparancy
Gordon Brown promised, after the fiasco of M.P. expenses, that he would change his style of leadership and show greater transparency.
Why then, when announcing an enquiry into the Iraq War today, has he said that it would be held behind closed doors ,('in camera'), and that its findings would not be made public?

Re: Transparancy
You can ask the question but the answer will be 'don't be nosey'.
Wins the argument and then forgets the promises an hour later He's a politician.
At the end of the day they already know the answers. They should either put them in the public domain or just not bother and have no enquiry either.
Its now in the past and costs a lot of money for enquiries. Jobs for the boys More money wasted to go to the friends of parliament. By the time the enquiry results are out will the info not be available under the Freedom of Info?

Re: Transparancy
It looks like Gordon Brown has done a 'u'-turn on this one by writing to the Chairman of the Iraq inquiry urging him to consult other parties as to how the inquiry should be conducted.
