Twist on an Old Favourite Empty Twist on an Old Favourite

If you like jacket potatoes cooked in an oven,I'm not a fan of the microwaved type, you'll (hopefully) love this twist.I got it off Stumbleupon.

Whilst your oven is heating up prepare your spuds as follows:-
Lay the spud flat side down.Starting at one end slice the spud almost through at 2-4mm intervals.Into each cut place a thin sliver of garlic (optional).Dab butter along the spud followed by a drizzle of olive oil,a sprinkle of sea salt and some ground black pepper.
Place on a baking tray and bake as normal.

I tried them last night and they are delicious.
They are called Hasselback Potatoes after the Swedish chef that first made them.
