Facebook and Twitter killing forums

Do you think websites like Facebook and Twitter will kill off general forum sites like this one, making them less attractive to internet users?

Looking at the number of members on here and the amount of recent postings, it has certainly slowed down to all but a trickle.

Do you use Facebook and or Twitter more now than posting on forums ?

i use face book but would prefer sites like this that is local chat

i use twitter to promote my blog, FB i use for both promotion and to talk to ppl, i dont like the facebook FUFF (games and stuff).

are they killing forums, perhaps a little :0
